Cartography

Inner Sea Region

Golarion Main Continent

With such giant areas to roam the inner sea region, there lies many different countries and peoples to both the northern and southern kingdoms. Some cities even offer an area of "Neutrality" between warring nations.

Hinterlands

Sandpoint

There lies a lot of possible combinations of peoples in this small area, but the hinterlands are no cut and dry lands. The large white area known as the "Devil's Platter" is just as dangerous as some of the well known Linnorm kingdoms to the north. On the coast lies Sandpoint, a city built for the sea.

Port of Sandpoint
Sandpoint Hinterlands

The port of Sandpoint is made into a natural peninsula within the mouth of Turandarok river. This position is fortified and creates calm waters for ships to dock safely. Temples and Royalty alike live in the city's upper and lower baileys.

Varisia

Runelord Lands

Varisia is a mysterious and vast land with powerful magics and unknown dangers. To the north lay the "Nolands" and to the south the "Mushfens". Sparse population gives these areas more room in expanses that feel like the untamed and wild lands that they are. It is also home to some of the biggest cities like Riddleport, Sandpoint, and Magnimar.

Mwangi Expanse

Golarion Inner Sea Region

The Mwangi Expanse is a closer view on the inner sea region, as shown by the Eye of Abendego over the seas on the north of the Kaava Lands forested area.

Bloodcove

Mwangi Expanse

Bloodcove is a dockside city nestled into the ancient roots of a giant tree in the Mwangi expanse. This last port of call shows it's twisted, mangled, strange, and other-worldly feelings in it's decor just as much as it's people and alliances here.

Fallen Fortress

Absalom Outer City

You’ve heard rumors that one of the sealed siege castles has been laid open by a minor earthquake. Word on the street is that no one has yet entered the tower, which folks are calling the
“Fallen Fortress.” What better way to start a life of excitement and adventure than by exploring its long-abandoned, dusty halls and perhaps claiming its ancient treasures?

Isle of Kortos

Inner Sea Region - Absalom City

While the metropolis itself does not occupy the entire landmass, the remaining land is considered among of the city-state's holdings, including the two smaller settlements on the island (Diobel and Escadar). Much of the non-populated land surrounding Absalom is filled with ruined siege engines and battlements from the countless assaults on the city's impenetrable walls and has come to be known as the Cairnlands. In the center of the Isle the Kortos Mounts rear out of the land, forested in their lower reaches but barren and icy at their peaks.

Absalom - The Free City

Isle of Kortos - Inner Sea Region

For more than 4,000 years, Absalom has been the city at the center of the world, a metropolis-sized showcase of the greatest treasures in all Golarion. The importance and influence of Absalom upon the Inner Sea and the whole of Golarion can not be overstated. The city not only holds a key strategic position for both commercial and military endeavors in the region, but encompasses the site of the ascension of four deities and claims to have been founded by none other than the Last Azlanti, the god Aroden.
